Some Credit, where Due…
Thanks to the fine folks upon who’s freely-shared and excellent public efforts I’m able to bring you my creative collectives in the form of this graphic adventure…
WordPress
This blog is proudly powered by WordPress, by far my favorite fast-and-simple web-platform for almost any kind of basic content-driven website. | “WordPress is a state-of-the-art publishing platform with a focus on aesthetics, web standards, and usability. WordPress is both free and priceless at the same time.” | http://www.wordpress.org/
Despite my heavy modifications, I’ve built this site on the backbone of the WPComic theme by Gorilla Ninja | “If you are looking to start a webcomic, then WPComic and WordPress are all that you need to start your webcomic. WPComic is a free WordPress theme that converts any WordPress blog into a webcomic site, without the need for any ftp software or additional Worpdress plugins. Everything you need can be done directly from the WordPress admin panel on your site. Using WPComic, webcomic publishers can publish webcomics, write blog entries and interact better with their webcomic readers.” | http://www.wpcomic.gorillaninja.com/
Inkscape
Ninety-five percent of the art for mezzaverse beta is created in Inkscape running via X11 on my Macbook. I like it so much, I even put a copy on my PC. | “An Open Source vector graphics editor, with capabilities similar to Illustrator, CorelDraw, or Xara X, using the W3C standard Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) file format. Inkscape supports many advanced SVG features (markers, clones, alpha blending, etc.) and great care is taken in designing a streamlined interface. It is very easy to edit nodes, perform complex path operations, trace bitmaps and much more.” | http://www.inkscape.org/
